A little bit about me

I am Anupam Prasad, an architect passionate about creating meaningful spaces that connect people, culture, and the environment.

Born in Patna, Bihar, and raised in Dhanbad, Jharkhand, my journey in architecture began with a childhood curiosity for building forms. From constructing miniature houses during festivals to experimenting with building-blocks and makeshift garages for toy cars, I always found joy in shaping spaces.

My formal education took me to NIT Trichy, Tamil Nadu, where I earned my Bachelor?s degree in Architecture. After graduation, I gained early professional exposure with a firm in Mumbai, followed by three years of enriching architectural design experience in Bengaluru, where I had also trained as an intern during my college years. Eventually, I returned to Dhanbad to be with my family and to explore the possibilities of independent practice as a freelance architect.

For me, architecture is not just a profession but a way of seeing the world. It is an evolving journey of learning, experimenting, and observing the built environment. Every project is an opportunity to understand what works, what inspires, and how design can positively impact people?s lives.
